At Universal Translation Services, we provide a full range of professional translation services designed to meet the specific requirements of individuals, businesses, and institutions across the United States and internationally. Whether you’re submitting documents to USCIS, applying to a university, handling legal matters, or translating materials for personal or professional use, our services are designed to ensure accuracy, compliance, and fast turnaround times. Below is an overview of the main types of translation services we offer — along with guidance on when each is typically required.
Certified Translation #
A certified translation is the most commonly requested service for official purposes in the U.S. It includes a signed and stamped statement attesting that the translation is complete and accurate, and is accepted by agencies such as USCIS, courts, schools, and state departments.
Typical use cases: #
- Immigration (e.g. USCIS submissions)
- Birth, marriage, and death certificates
- Academic record and diplomas
- Legal documents
- Medical records
Delivery: PDF by email
Price: $20.00 per page
Turnaround: 24 hours for most standard documents (1-3 pages)
Notarized Translation #
Our notarized translations include a certified translation accompanied by a notarial certificate signed and sealed by a commissioned Florida notary public. The notarization confirms the identity of the person who signed the certification statement — not the content of the translation itself.
While notarization is not required for USCIS, some institutions, courts, and international agencies request it.
When to choose notarization: #
- You’re submitting to a U.S. court that requires notarized translations
- You’re dealing with a consulate, embassy, or international authority
- You’ve been specifically told notarization is required
Additional cost: $20.00 per document
Availability: Add-on to a certified translation upon request
Digital Certification #
Digital certification is an optional add-on that applies a secure digital signature and timestamp to your certified translation PDF. While your certified translation is already legally valid, this digital signature helps prove that the file has not been modified after delivery. If you print your certified translation, the digital certification allows you (or the recipient) to verify that the printed version matches the original certified file we issued.
When to choose digital certification: #
- You’re printing your translation and want proof that it hasn’t been changed
- You want to provide extra assurance to the recipient about document integrity
Additional cost: $10.00 per document
Availability: Add-on to a certified translation
Hard Copy Delivery (Optional) #
If the recipient requires a physical certified translation with original stamps and wet-ink signatures, you can request a printed hard copy of your translation.
Hard copies include all required seals and signatures and are shipped via FedEx 2nd Day within the United States. This service is commonly requested by clients submitting documents to courts, government agencies, or schools that require wet ink seals and signatures.
When to request a hard copy: #
- You need to mail your translation to an institution that doesn’t accept PDFs
- You’ve been asked to submit the translation with wet-ink signatures
- You want a physical backup for your records
Cost: Starting at $20.00 per project (total cost calculated after the project is completed)
Regular Translation (Non-Certified) #
Regular translations are professional, human translations that do not include certification. These are typically used for every day or industry-specific content that doesn’t need to be submitted to a government or legal authority. This service is ideal for business, medical, legal, and technical materials where accuracy and industry-specific terminology are essential.
When to choose regular translation: #
- You’re translating materials for professional or internal use
- The recipient does not require certification
- You need industry-appropriate language and formatting
Common use cases: #
-
- Business contracts and reports
- Medical records and clinical documents
- Marketing content, websites, user manuals
- Emails, internal communication, presentations
Cost: Starting at $20.00 per project (total cost calculated after the project is completed)
