Finding a common thing can be the ice breaker between two strangers. We often talk about how different we are from each other but it is also true that we are always looking for something similar in people. Just one similar habit can bring together people who have not much in common. Two people can have conflicting personalities and still manage to be friends.

The world is vast and beautiful. But sometimes, the vastness also means that we don’t know the people of our planet very well. No one expects us to know all seven billion humans but we don’t know anything about a few countries and its people.

People often say that sky is the limit but humanity proved it wrong when it went to the moon. We made it a point to go beyond the limits for many reasons, but above all, it allowed us to prove to ourselves that we can. If we had never tried to challenge our limits, we never would have progressed.

There are different types of privileges in the world and the ones enjoying them rarely realize how lucky they are. Living in a society where you can be your true self and not worry for your life every time you step out of your house is one of the privileges that people never think about much. Peace is a blessing but also a privilege that first world countries enjoy but the underdeveloped countries rarely get to live in.

The world passed through different ages to reach the current point in history. Everyone and everything have to go through an evolutionary period and none of the steps are any less important simply because they are in the past now. The world’s first computer was heavy and slow. It also didn’t do much.

There are more interesting things in the world than a person can learn in a lifetime. But that doesn’t mean that we shouldn’t try to learn at all. We have been given a fixed amount of time to live on this earth during which there is no limitations on the things we can experience and commit to our memory. We meet each other and learn new things about different communities every day.

If we didn’t have important things and memories in life, it would be pretty meaningless. The more something affects us, the longer we remember it. The things that matter the most to us are the ones we try our best to protect from the world. As kids, we don’t want anyone else playing with our favorite toy lest they break it.

Some people in this world wish they can open their watches to see how they work from the inside. They have the same thoughts about different types of machinery because they want to see the process from their own eyes. Whether it is curiosity or the need to know how things go down, the wish often leads people to pick up their tool box and open up watches, computers, telephone sets and what not.

Every class has the students who everyone thinks will get the first position. However, more often than not, the one quiet student who rarely speaks up in class but do their work regularly end up getting the first position and surprising everyone. One can say that no one saw them coming but in truth, their achievements were there right from the start.

If you think of yourself as a consumer only, you are not thinking from a bigger perspective. We know that we earn money and then spend that money on important things, and sometimes, on a few luxuries. But that’s not all that we do. We are not just filling the pocket of other companies by being consumers.
